Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care Belleville General Hospital, Belleville, on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Robert Cadeau, age 77 of Cardiff, was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Stringer) Cadeau. Loving father of Catherine of Cardiff, Cindy of Barrie, and Robert (Carol) of Kitchener. Predeceased by his daughters Carol and Christine. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Francesca, Yolanda, Robert, Mario, Samantha, Elyssa, Casey and Bill. Great-grandfather of Thomas, Phillip, Lilly, Tristan and Bruce. Son of the late Howard and Edna (Columbus) Cadeau. Brother of Monica, Leona, and John. Predeceased by his brother Harold and his sister Loretta. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Robert’s family will receive relatives and friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (Monck Road, Cardiff) on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 12 Noon – 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Father Claire Hickson Presiding. Interment of Robert’s Cremated Remains at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Bancroft. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Parkinson’s Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
