Peacefully, at his home in Harcourt, on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Alexander Ellis, age 63, was the beloved husband of Sharon (LeMottee) Ellis. Loved father of Tom and his wife Tina of Oshawa, and grandfather of Breanna. Great-grandfather of Logan. Brother and brother-in-law of Lesley (Ralph) Weaver, Errol (Lindy) Ellis, Donna (Ken) Smurthwaite and Bob (Diane) LeMottee. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service will take place at the Harcourt Community Centre, on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
