Born on Nov.25, 1953 in Woodstock, ON, and died peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, November 05, 2014, following a stroke. Jerome (Jerry) Coulas, age 60 of Douglas, was predeceased by his parents John and Doris Coulas and his husband Rod McFadzean (Sept.5, 2014). Survived by his brother Raymond and sister-in-law Shela, as well as Dr. Laing & Sharon, Art & Bet, and James McFadzean. Jerry was a talented artist whose work is in private collections and galleries across Canada. He was much treasured by his close circle of friends; Terry Edmunds, Barry Siegrist & Joey Shulman and many others. Cremation has already taken place and a celebration of Jerry's life will be planned for the spring. Donations in Jerry's memory may be made to any mental health agency in small town Ontario or by purchasing an original work by a living artist. He would have liked that.
