Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, December 07, 2013. Jean (Dupuis) Jackson, age 84, of Lake St. Peter, was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Jackson (1980). Daughter of the late Oliver and Ruth (Cowan) Dupuis. Survived by her sister-in-law Jean Dupuis of Oshawa, and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours, Fondly remembered by her good friend Eva Prince. Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Friday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church (52 Hwy 127, Maynooth) on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Interment Carrying Place Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Community Care North Hastings or Maynooth Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
