Peacefully, at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Marie Gatley, age 92, of Bracebridge, formerly of Barry’s Bay and Whitney, was the beloved wife of the late Robert Gatley (1998). Loving mother of Jeanne (Charles) Shrybman of Brampton, Margaret (Peggy) Gatley of North York, Harry (Fazila) of Utah, Bob (Jennifer) of Michigan, and David (Carla) of Whitney. Loved grandmother of Phillip, Geoff, Skye, Jodie, Darren, Sarah, Percilla, Ashley, Marissa, Maggie and Jayden. Great-grandmother of Shad-Leo. Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends at Smith Post Memorial United Church (Hwy 60 Whitney) on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon with The Rev. Jennifer Canning officiating. Visitation will also take place at Christ Church Anglican in Colchester, on Friday, December 06, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon where a Service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Colchester. As expressions of sympathy, donations to AIDWYC The Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted, would be appreciated by the family.
