Peacefully, at her home in Gilmour, on Monday, October 14, 2013. Winnifred (Murphy) Phillips, passed away suddenly at the age 77. Winnifred was the beloved wife of Ellis Phillips of Gilmour, and daughter of Agnes and the late Henry Murphy of Nova Scotia. Loving mother of Susan Phillips (Mervin Trumble) of Gilmour, Wayne Phillips (Michelle Trumble) of Gilmour, and Tom Phillips (Rose Nodin) of Armstrong. Loving grandmother of Christina, Nicole, Melissa, Rebecca, Ryan, Natasha, Alisha, Sarah, Conrad, Courtney, Carl, Caitlynn, Jared and Jorja. Great-grandmother of Christopher, Novah, Cameron, Landon, Roman, Amelia, Edwin, Makayla, Angel, and Sophia Rose. Sister of Irene (Jack), Greg (Cheryl) and Wayne. Survived by her brother-in-law Stan Phillips. Predeceased by her sons Michael and Lorne and by her grandson Adam. Winnifred’s family will receive family and friends at Mount Zion Pentecostal Church (Weslemkoon Lake Road) on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Don McMurray officiating. Interment at Gilmour Cemetery, Gilmour. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
