Peacefully, at his home in L’Amable, on Saturday, September 28, 2013. John Simpson, age 73, was the loved spouse of Shirley. Father of Ken (Theresa) Simpson, Bonnie Simpson, and John (Shelley) Simpson. Step-father to Christine (Morgan) Manning, and Tiffani (Cory) McQuigge. Grandfather of Sarah, Amanda, Ken, Sabrina, Matthew, Kerri-Ann, Krista, Erica, Greg, Rodney, Michael, Amy, Chanelle, Mason and Colten. Great-grandfather of Ryan, Cayden, Daniel and Lincon. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Celebration of John’s Life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
