Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Thursday, September 19, 2013. Eldon Keller, age 79 of Boulter, was the beloved husband for 57 years of Phyllis Keller. Loved father of Carlon Spencer (Melvin) of Stratford, Karen Keller of Bancroft, Susan Summers (Michael) of Boulter, Marshall Keller of Tweed, Melvin Keller (Shelley) of Millbridge, Eldon Jr. Keller (Barb) of Guelph, Norman Keller (Madelaine) of Tweed, Jeannette Wannamaker (Ron) of Boulter, Annabelle Keller (Rob) of Bancroft, Charlotte Keller of Bancroft, Jennifer Keller of Bancroft, Randy Keller of Belleville, Cindy Kinder (Rick) of Paudash, and Pamela Keller of Boulter. Loved grandfather of 36, and great-grandfather of 25. Brother-in-law of Freda Hass (Clifford) of Hardwood Lake, Vena McConnell (Francis) of Bancroft, Joe Keller (Shirley) of Bancroft, Louie Keller (Betty) of Belleville, Art Keller of Tweed, Yvonne Stone of Belleville, Ernestine Keller of Belleville and Hazel White of Bancroft. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Amel Keller. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Eldon farmed in the Boulter area for many years. Eldon’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Sunday evening 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church (786 Schutt Road, Schutt) on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Adam Snook officiating. Cremation to follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
