Peacefully, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, on Sunday, September 01, 2013. Dominic Luckasavitch, age 79, of Whitney, was the son of the late Edward and Mary (O’Hare) Luckasavitch. Loved brother of Bridgit Ronholm of Whitney, Claire Leeck (Ernest) of Pettawawa, Margaret Jodoin of Pembroke, Patrick Lukasavitch (Winnie) of Whitney, and Marilyn Dupuis (Leslie) of Whitney. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Ben, Michael, Helen, Bernard and Phillip. Dominic is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Dominic’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (10 Post St., Whitney) on Wednesday 2:00 – 4:00 & 700 – 900 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Thursday, September 05, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Interment St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, Whitney. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Francis Memorial Hospital or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
