Peacefully, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, on Friday, August 09, 2013. Philip Gordon Smith, in his 76th year, was born September 29, 1937. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Smith (nee Burke). Dear father of David, Sandra, John and Susan of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Carmen Smith. Dear brother to Phyllis of Massachusetts, and cousin Arthur and Mary Lee Smith of British Columbia. A dear brother-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Also, will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Phillip’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Interment St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Cemetery, Maynooth.
