Peacefully, at her home in Cardiff, on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Luella Smith, age 77, was the beloved wife of the late Allan Smith (1986). Loved mother of Douglas (Pauline) Smith of Oshawa, Dan (June) Smith of Cardiff, and Linda Nicholson (Greg) of Madoc. Loved grandmother of Kristofer (Casie), Travis (Chris), Douglas and Joshua. Sister of Tom Covert (Helen) of Oshawa, Stead Covert (Jean) of Belleville and Joe Covert (Pat) of Oshawa. Predeceased by James and Kalen. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium, with Interment of Luella’s Ashes at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. A Memorial Service for Luella will take place at the Cardiff Community Centre on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Lynn Watson officiating.
