Peacefully, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, on Monday, June 17, 2013. Leona Felhaber, age 72, was the beloved wife of Andrew Felhaber of Combermere. Loved mother of Nancy MacDonald of Belleville, Jerry Grant of Belleville, Noland Grant of Belleville, Lawanda (Justin) Hansen of Petawawa, Denise (Jason) Brotton of Barry’s Bay, and step-mother to Cameron (Anne) Felhaber of Pembroke. Loved grandmother of Stephen, Justin, Brandon, Laura, Shannon. Kyle, Jacob, Cole, Hayley, Savannah, Aidan, Cassandra, Ryan, Enrico, Ocean, Jesse, Morgan and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Nathaniel, Mason, Jaydin, Sierra, Andrew, Natalie, Tavin, Tenley, Colby, Lily, Auztin, Lillian, Regan, Alana, and Gabby. Loved sister of Evelyn (Sonny) Doucette. Predeceased by Garnet, Lillian, James, Tom and Melvin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Leona’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Wednesday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Interment, at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Word of Life Outreach would be appreciated by the family.
