Peacefully, at the Valley Manor, Barry’s Bay, on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Ruth Boyle, in her 104th year, was the beloved wife of the late George Wesley Boyle (1973). Loving mother of Ethel Ryan (Sidney Parcher) of Barry’s Bay, and Jack Boyle (Marie) of Bolton. Loved grandmother of Deborah Hulstein (Terry), Vera Robinson (Pete Gunn), Candace Pilbersek (Alex McCrorie), Lori Nielson (Paul), Jack Boyle, Kelly Ryan (Keith Scutter), and Kim Luckovitch (Alfie). Much loved great-grandmother and great great-grandmother and fondly remembered by sister-in-law Isabelle Porath of Haliburton. Predeceased by eight brothers and one sister, her daughter Vera Laundry (1992) and son-in-law Bill Laundry (1980), son-in-law Steven Ryan (1999) and her infant son Dennis (1950). Survived by many friends. Ruth’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Monday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Mill St., Combermere) on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Darlene Cunliffe and assisted by the Rev. Canon C. David Lethbridge officiating. Interment, Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth, in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Combermere would be appreciated by the family, or a charity of choice.
