After battling a serious illness, Janimarie Carpenter passed away peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Doug Carpenter. Loving mother of Tanya Daty (of Lyons, Colorado) and Kristie Cole (of Peterborough). Cherished grandmother of Bianca, Morgane, Amelia, Raphaelle and Tristan. Dear sister of Paul, Noris, Norman, Mike and Pat Dickson and step-sister to Ron Chessell. Stepmother of Tyler and Douglas Carpenter. Janimarie was a cherished friend to all and will be remembered for her desire to help those in need. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Janimarie’s family welcomes relatives and friends to A Celebration of her Life, at St. John’s Anglican Parish (40 Flint St., Bancroft) on Saturday, March 23, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to H.A.R.T. (Highland Animal Relief Team) would be appreciated by the family.
