Peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Melvern Woodbeck, age 73 of Coe Hill, was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Winter) Woodbeck. Loving father of Susan Crocker-Arnold (Larry) of Paudash, and Pam Mace (Kevin) of Coe Hill. Loved grandfather of Joshua (Lizzy) Crocker, Justin Crocker, Kimberly Crocker (Trevor), Darin Mace, and Corey Mace. Great-grandfather of Lexi. Brother of Marilyn (Earl) Hirons of Mississauga, and Iris Hector of Ottawa. Brother-in-law of Carl and Jean Winter of Bridgenorth, Bob and Helen Cowen of Peterborough, Jackie Purdy of Peterborough, June and Rolly Graham of Peterborough, Lois Montgomery of Peterborough and Larry and Maureen Winter of Kanata. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Melvern’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Apsley Community Chapel (McFadden Road, Apsley) on Saturday, February 02, 2013 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Trotter officiating. Cremation to follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideon Bible or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements Entrusted to M.G.
