Passed unexpectedly and painlessly, at the age 62, on Saturday November 17, 2012 in the town of Birds Creek. He was the devoted husband of Kathryn (Kadwell) Wishlow of Bancroft, and loving and admired father of Ron Wishlow and Kendra Wishlow. Beloved son of Mabel and the late Mike Wishlow of Etobicoke. Adored big brother of Lindy Wishlow of Toronto, Valerie Wishlow of Oakville. Treasured son-in-law of Robert Wallace and Carol Kadwell-Wallace of Birds Creek. He will be fondly remembered by nephews Ryan, Karl, Shawn, and niece Kristyl-Rose. Special brother-in-law to Kris and Rosie Kadwell and Gene and K.Ronica Strouth. Ken and Kathryn owned/operated the Bancroft Bed & Breakfast. Ken was most recently the manager of the Bancroft Village Playhouse Theatre, and worked in many capacities on the restoration of the Bancroft Train Station. He will be dearly missed by family, friends, co-workers, and members of the community. Cremation took place at the Lakefield Crematorium. A “Celebration of Life” for Ken will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., (Doors open at 11:30 a.m.) at the Bancroft Village Playhouse Theatre (5 Hastings Street South). As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bancroft Village Playhouse Theatre, The March of Dimes Post-Polio Eradication Program, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
