Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, on Sunday, September 09, 2012. Marie Lee, age 93, was the beloved wife of Donald Lee of Bancroft. Loved mother of Donald Pate of Hamilton, Lloyd (Cathy) Pate of London, and Dianne Taylor (Stew) of London. Loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by her sister Edna Connelly of London. Predeceased by her daughter Marlene, and son Ronald, and by her siblings Abe, Mary, Louise, Michael, Margaret, Joan, and George. Cremation has already taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy (196 Bridge St. W., Bancroft) on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Patrick Dobec presiding. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
