Peacefully at the Water Tower Lodge, Barry’s Bay, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Wally Palbiskie, age 87, was the beloved husband of the late Eva Parizeau (2011). Brother of Gordon (Clover) Palbiskie of Hay Lake, and Charmaine (Clifford) Olmstead of Whitney. Predeceased by his sisters Cora Chapeskie and Norma Kmith. Survived by his brothers-in-law Tom Chapeskie, Fred Kmith, and by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Wally’s family will receive relatives and friends at Smith Post Memorial United Church (Hwy 60 and Paradise Rd., Whitney) on Saturday, September 08, 2012, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Jennifer Canning officiating. Interment, at Union Cemetery, Whitney. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Smith Post United Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
