Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Marlene Wilson, age 73, was the beloved wife of the late Elvin Wilson (2009). Loving mother of Cheryl Bard, Marvin Sleeper (Judy), Sheila Beach (Brian), and Eleanor Stewart (Ed). Survived by many grand children and great-grandchildren. Sister and sister-in-law of Marie Green (Jim), Glenna McAllister (Larry), Darlene Carroll, Harold Sutherland (Sylvia), Wayne Sutherland (Eileen), Lloyd Sutherland (Diane) and Daryl Sutherland (Marion). Predeceased by her son Randy Sleeper, and her brother Lee Sutherland. Marlene’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St., N., Bancroft) of Friday April 20, 2012 from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 9:30 p.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Interment, L’Amable United Church Cemetery on Sunday, April 22, 2012. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.
