Suddenly, at his home in Lake St. Peter, on Friday, November 25, 2011. James Borland, age 78, was the beloved husband of Shirley Beaubien. Loved father of Diane Brenneman (Gary) of Embro, Judith Keutsch (Allan) of London, Wilma Lafond of New Liskeard, Gaston Beaubien (Dominique) of New Liskeard, and Richard Beaubien of Quebec. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Brother of Allan Borland (Bernice) and Edward Borland (Joan). Predeceased by his sister Dorothy. Son-in-law of the late Hazel Rutledge (Manley). Fondly remembered and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Army, Navy & Air Force Club (55 ANAF Rd., Maynooth), on Saturday, December 03, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Lynn Watson officiating. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
