Peacefully at the Valley Manor Nursing Home, Barry’s Bay, on Sunday, November 13, 2011. Stella (Prince) Shalla, age 84, was the beloved wife of the late Max Shalla (2000). Loving mother of Michael Shalla, Danny Shalla (Corry), Cathy Pordonick (Eric), and the late Bobbie Shalla (2008). Loved grandmother of MJ, Jennifer, Tikki, Jessica, Bailey, Kayla, Lucas, Jordan, and James. Great-grandmother of Lili and Owen. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (Post Street, Whitney) on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jim Beanish presiding. Interment of Stella’s cremated remains, St, Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, Whitney. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Valley Manor, or St. Martin of Tours Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
