Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, November 02, 2011. John Ellis, age 48 of Paudash Lake, was the loving husband of Laurie (Merlin) Ellis. Loved father of John Ellis Jr. and Grant Ellis of Paudash. Loved son of John and Rozlyn Ellis of Lake St. Peter, and son-in-law of Bob and Ruth Watts of Orono. Brother and brother-in-law of Warren (Jackie) Ellis of Lindsay, and Kathy (Cam) Watson of Oshawa. John was the golf course supervisor at River’s Edge Golf Club in Bancroft. John’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Friday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home on Saturday, November 05, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium.
