Peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Betty (Bowman) Kavanagh, age 68, was a resident of Campbellford. Dear mother of Jean Price (Scott Cameron) of L’Amable, Penny Robbins (Darryl) of Huntsville, Gayle Kavanagh (Jack Burke) of Campbellford, and Sheila Kavanagh (Ken Burke) of Highland Grove. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Melissa, Yolanda, Michael and Rebecca (Rick Lidster). Sister of Elmer Bowman (Wendy) of Lake St. Peter. Extended family Bobbie-Jean Donovan, Katarina and Daniel. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Jane (Webb) Bowman, her brother Jim Bowman (Marion) her son-in-law Mark Price, and her grandson Darryl Robbins. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Betty was a homemaker, a very special mother and grandmother to all. Betty’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (288 Riverside Parkway, Frankford) on Friday October 28, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 12:00 Noon with Father Francis Opara Presiding. Interment Frankford Trinity Cemetery.
