Peacefully at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Friday, October 21, 2011. Ken Linville, age 59, of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Irma (Johnson) Linville. Loving father of Michael and Jeremy. Son of the Barbara (Mead) and Frank Phillips of Belleville, and the late John Linville. Brother of Ron (Donna) of Sudbury and John (Linda) of Hartford Conn. Son-in-law of Helena Johnson and Donald Sutherland of Maynooth and the late Frank Johnson. Brother-in-law of Marilyn Moynes (Michael) of Maynooth. Uncle of Kristen, Tammy, Holly, Amber and the late Trevor. Ken worked in the mining industry for most of his career, and was an employee with Bancroft Rental for the past 15 years. Ken’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev Lynn Watson officiating. Cremation has already taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
