Peacefully, at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Friday, September 23, 2011. Duanne Welsh, age 69, was the beloved husband of Elaine (Pritchard) Welsh. Loved father of Duanne Jr. (Marina) of Meaford, Roderick (Karen) of Meaford, and Shelley Erechook (Steve) of Thunder Bay. Loved grandfather of Shauna, Janis, Brandon, Dalton, Dakota, Elissa, Stephen and Tanner. Survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and his brother Dawson (Violetta) of Thomasburg. Predeceased by his parents Dalton and Luella (Musclow) Welsh , his sister Barbara and his brother Bill (2009). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Duanne’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Monday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Graphite Bible Chapel (Graphite Rd, Maynooth) on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ross Kearney officiating. Interment, New Carlow Cemetery, New Carlow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings or H.A.R.T. (Highland Animal Relief Team) would be appreciated by the family.
