Suddenly, at his home in Monteagle Township, on Thursday, September 22, 2011. Wilfred Parks, age 73, was the partner of Wilma Plunkett. Loved father of Paul Parks, Carol Butcher, Jeremy Parks, Adam Parks, Wilfred Jr. Hayes, Dennis Hayes, Denise Hayes, Minnie Hayes, Willie Parks, Sarah Parks and Amanda Parks. Step-father of Theresa Plunkett, Grandfather of Eric, Alisha, Preston, Wesley and Carson. Jonathan, Laurale, Amanda, Kayla, Kaytee, Kierra, Miranda, Ashley, and Tammy. Son of the late Alexander and Wilim (Cooney) Parks. Brother of Bob Parks, Shirley Nicholas, Howard Parks and Elvin Parks. Predeceased, by his brothers Tom and Max. Fondly remembered by William and Elva Stevens, Ralph, John, Willy, Margaret, Lorne and Betty-Anne. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (196 Bridge St. W., Bancroft) on Saturday, October 01, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Patrick M. Dobec Presiding.
