Passed away peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, on Thursday, September 01, 2011. Rita (Labarge) Leeder, age 73, born and raised in Whitney, was the beloved wife of Vonnie Leeder of Lake St. Peter. Loving mother of Marvin of Oshawa, and Chris (Helen) of Whitby. Loved grandmother of Jonathan (Kelly), Ashley, Carrie, Melanie and Kristyn. Predeceased by her parents Lewis and Frances (Kubicheski) Labarge, her daughter-in-law, Dey Leeder, her sisters Janet, Helen, Louella and brother Ernest. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Sister Irene Villemere, Theresa (Dennis) Smith, Marjorie Schmidth, Agatha (Norm) West, Verna (Earl) Bastien, and brother Ray (Diane) Labarge. Sister-in-law of Beatrice Carter, Debra Leeder, and Gary (Sue) Henderson. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service will take place at Lake St. Peter Community Centre (5 Boulter Lake Rd.) on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Jim Beanish officiating. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
