Peacefully, at the Valley Manor, Barry’s Bay, on Monday, May 16, 2011. Mildred Louise (Rice) O’Leary, age 73, was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence O’Leary (2005). Loving mother of Pauline Parisien and her husband Darrell of Combermere. Daughter of the late Isaac and Rose (King) Rice, and sister of the late Bob, John, David, Martin, Bill and Jean. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Millie was born on Parry Island, Wasauksing. For many years Millie worked in Algonquin Provincial Park’s Lake Of Two Rivers Store, and recently resided at the Valley Manor in Barry’s Bay. Millie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Madawaska Community Complex (Major Lake Road, Madawaska) on Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral service will take place at the Word of Life Outreach Church (2032 Hwy #127, Lake St. Peter) on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael West officiating. Interment, Papineau Lake Cemetery, Maple Leaf. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the family would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
