Peacefully, at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, on Monday, April 25, 2011. Eileen Hicks, age 75, of Mississauga, was the loving mother of Terri Hicks, and loved grandma of Cory Mota, both of Mississauga. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Blanche New of Combermere, Ken Hicks (Betty) of Purdy, Samuel Hicks (Pauline) of Combermere and Carson Dubblestyne (Irene) of Bell’s Rapids. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Bealow, Alice Byers and Jacqueline Dubblestyne. Eileen’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Friday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Purdy Evangelical Baptist Church (Hwy 62N, Purdy) on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Lorenzin officiating. Interment, Papineau Lake Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Purdy Evangelical Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
