Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Health Centre, Pembroke, on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Eva Palbiskie, age 74, was the beloved wife of Wallace Palbiskie of Barry’s Bay, formerly of Whitney. Loved sister of Germaine Bertrand, Jaqueline Stuart, Jeanne Forsythe, Marie Gravelle, Bernard Parizeau (Jeanne-Claire), Berth Jodouin, Colombe Trempe (Paul), and Elise Trempe (Fernand). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Albertine (Charlebois) Parizeau, her brother Redolphe and her sisters Marguerite, Flore, Francoise and by many brothers and sisters-in-law. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service for Eva will take place at Smith Post Memorial United Church (Hwy 60 and Paradise Rd., Whitney) on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with The rev. Jennifer Canning officiating. Interment of Eva’s cremated remains will take place at Union Cemetery, Whitney, in the spring.
