Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, Belleville General Hospital, Belleville, on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Patricia Syer, age 61, was the beloved wife of Duncan Syer of Bancroft. Loving mother of Jennifer Prentice and her husband Steve, and loving grandmother of Jasmine and Logan. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Arlene Vetzal (Patrick), Don Jackson (Linda) and Rodney Syer (Sharon). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends in the community. Patricia was a founding member of BARK (Bancroft and Area Recreational Canine Club). Patricia’s family will receive relatives and friends at the A.N.A.F. (Army, Navy & Air Force Club) (A.N.A.F. Road, Maynooth) on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with The Rev. Jennifer Canning officiating. At Patricia’s request, her body has been donated to the School of Anatomy, Queen’s University, Kingston.
