Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Phyllis baker, age 85, was the beloved wife of the late Edward Alan Baker (2001). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry Baker (Nancy) of Burlington, Ken Baker of Serpent River, Wendy Baker and her husband Phil Panton of Burlington, Janet Baker of Bancroft, Victor Lafontaine (Flo) of Burlington, Bibiane Baker of Burlington, and Nancy Baker of Bancroft. Loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Margaret Webb, and Nancy Broad both of England. Predeceased by her son, Michael Baker (2005). At Phyllis’ request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Internment of Phyllis’ ashes in Mcgillvray Cemetery, Paudash.
