Peacefully, at his home in Cardiff, on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Gordon Shoobridge, age 78, was the beloved husband of Betty Jean (Hunter) of Cardiff. Loving father of Joyce, and Brad and his wife Vanessa. Brother of Royston Shoobridge, and brother-in-law of Roy Hunter and his wife Enise. Gordon’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Mark’s United Church (Paudash Lake Road) on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 1:45 – 2:15 p.m. A Funeral Service for Gordon will follow, with The Rev. Joan Hacock officiating. Cremation to follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
