Peacefully, at her home in Cardiff, on Sunday, October 11, 2009. Rita Stevens, age 53, was the beloved wife of William Stevens of Cardiff. Loving mother of Ryan and his wife Crystal of Oshawa. Daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth Hartung, and daughter-in-law of the late Roy and Betty Stevens. Sister of Christel Basset (daryl) of Mississauga, Andy Hartung (Jody) of waterloo, and Brian Hartung of Cambridge. Loved by her nephews Eli, Josh, Zeb, Isaah and Uriah. A Memorial Mass for Rita will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Cardiff, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation has already taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to H.A.R.T. (Highland Animal Relief Team) or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
