Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Phillip Lynch, age 63 of Whitney, was the beloved husband of the late Linda (Perry) Lynch of Whitney. Loving father of Shannon Lynch (Chris), Quianna Lynch, and the late Benjamin Lynch. Loving partner to Tammy McConnell. Phillip is survived by his grandchildren, Cameron, Christopher, Ryan, Ryder and September. Loved son of the late Iona (Higgison) and Benedict Lynch and son in law to the late Evelyn (Parks) and Eldon Perry. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Janice Walter (Brad), Bart Lynch (Janet), Kelvin Lynch (Lisa), Colleen Desroches (Rick), Debbie Cybulskie (Wally), Melissa Perry (Tom) and Joanne Plebon. Survived by his many nieces and nephews, Phillip was the owner / operator of Whitney Cabins. He will be sadly missed by his many clients and friends. Phillip’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (Post Street, Whitney ON) on Sunday March 24th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Monday, March 25th at 11:00 am with Father Malachy presiding. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the organ and tissue organization Trillium Gift of Life Network, or Madawaska Valley Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
