Peacefully at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Monday, June 22, 2009. Bill McCaskie, age 85, was the beloved husband of the late Jean (Musclow) McCaskie (1998). Loved father of Ken Sutherland (Linda) of Bowmanville, Mike McCaskie (Gail), Edward McCaskie (Brenda), Dianne Rose (Charles), Frederick McCaskie (Crystal), and Wayne McCaskie all of Bancroft. Loved grandfather of Vance, Marcy, Adam, Amy, Darren, Jason, Christy, Paul, Thomas, Tammy, Melissa, Bradley, Sarah, Amanda and Kelvin. Great-grandfather of 16. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bernie (Audrey), Madeline (Roger), Marion (Everett), Doris Moore, Isabel (Ken) Moore, Arnold (Lois) Musclow, and Betty (Remi) Graf. Fondly remembered by his many friends in Cuba.Bill’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N.) on Tuesday 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Bill will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium with interment of Ashes in Mt. Zion United Church Cemetery, Hybla, at a later date.
