Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Richard Shannick, age 68 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Howran) Shannick (2021). Loving father of Shawn. Brother of Linda Robinson, Keith Shannick (Ann), and Randy Shannick (Ann). Brother-in-law of Debbie Lavoy (Andy), Tony Howran (Melanie), Ronnie Howran (Debbie), Brenda Howran, Marie Howran, and Ann Howran. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Jimmy, David, and Bobby. Survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Richard worked for many years in the lumber industry and will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will take place at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maple Leaf, in the spring.
