Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital, on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Roy Lockwood, age 79, of Paudash Lake, was the beloved husband for 51 years, to Joyce (Plunkett) Lockwood. Loving father of Gary (Darlene), Richard, Dwane (Carolyn), Bam (Heather), Dean (Rebecca), Gwen, and Patty (Brent). Loved grandfather of Roy, Mike, Cody, Joel, Hunter, Madisin, Gracelynn, Connor, and Dillon. Predeceased by his granddaughter Ashley and his sisters Anne, Sue, Ada, Hazel, and his brothers Jim, Jack and Frank. Fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Roy’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul’s United Church (1 Hastings St. S., Bancroft) on Saturday May 02, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Roy will follow at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
