Suddenly at his favourite place on the York River in Hastings Highlands on July, 1 2023 with his best buddies, Wayne Noffke age 74 passed away. The beloved spouse of 28 years to the day to Linda (Baragar) Covert of Lake St. Peter. The loving father of Jamie Noffke (Andrea), Darcey Millar (Paula), Kimber-Anne Noffke (Shea), Jamie Covert (Leslie), Dawn Davidson (Rob). The proud Papa of Caitlyn (Elliott), Cailey (J) Emily, Mya, Brice, Elise, Miranda, Rileigh-Anne, Eden, and Theron. Loving brother to Nancy Kinder, Wallace Noffke, Jeff Noffke (Claudette), Darlene Noffke (Darryl), Julie Noffke (Ken), Brother in-law of Dave Baragar, Mary Thomas, and the late Ken, Rod, and Norma. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Alma (Maschke) Noffke, his sisters Susie (Noffke) Doran, Dianne (Noffke) Sheridan, nephew Curtis Noffke and granddaughter Rebecca. Wayne will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Wayne had many best friends, too many to name. But the love and bond he shared between his nephews and his son-in-law will live on forever. A gathering will take place at the Lake St. Peter Community Centre, 5 Boulter Road, Lake St. Peter, on August 26th, 2023, 1 pm to 4 pm to celebrate his birthday. Friends and family are encouraged to wear sarcastic shirts, orange, or skidder green. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, or The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
