Jerry Richard sadly passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Mavis (Wadsworth) Richard. Loving father to Michelle and Nicole. Gracious stepfather to Wendy and Monte. Proud grandpa to 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. Keila and Dr. Ahearn and nurse Valerie for their care and compassion. A big thank you to all of Jerry’s health care team that provided love and support at home. As per Jerry’s request, there will be no Funeral or Memorial Service at this time. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Back the Cat- North Hastings Hospital Fund Development or The Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family.
