Peacefully, at the Valley Manor Nursing Home, Barry’s Bay, on Thursday, January 22, 2009.  Hazel Jessup, age 83, was the beloved wife of the late Allen Jessup of Madawaska.  Loved mother of Beverley Hardy and her husband Murray of Combermere, Bert Jessup and his wife Brenda of Bancroft, and James Jessup and his wife Charlotte of Cross Lake.  Loving grandmother, of Kim (Kevin), Laurie (Steve), Kelly (Shaun), Luanne (Kevin), Julie, David, Jennifer, Michael (Jennifer) and Matthew.  Great-grandmother of Adam, Jessica, Ryan, Kaylee, Kloe, Brenna and Schuyler.  Loved sister and sister-in-law of Phyllis, Edna (Garrance), Grace and Tom Ward.  Predeceased by her parents Wesley and Elizabeth (Wasmund) Brown, her sisters Florence, Verna and Bessie, and by her grandson Rob Hannah.  Hazel’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Sunday 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Visitation will also take place at St. Paul’s and St. James United Church (Hwy  60, Madawaska) on Monday, January 26, 2009 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A Funeral Service for Hazel will follow at 11:00 with The Rev.
