Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry's Bay in his 85th year. Predeceased by his parents Adam Maika and Anastasia Peplinski. He leaves to mourn his wife Shirley (Dombroskie) and his sons Larry (Jill) of Oliver BC and Eric of Victoria BC. Predeceased by siblings Sylvester, Delphinus, Victoria Norlock, Joseph and Theresa. Survived by Andrew (Lillian), Dorothy Brown, Boniface and Anna Marie (Michael) Small. As per Bernard's request there is no visitation. The family would like to thank Dr. Chen, the doctors and nursing staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, the homecare team and Dylaina Wood at Hospice for their great care and concern. As expressions of sympathy, a charitable donation may be made to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation or Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.
