It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Lacasse, 86, of Stittsville, Ontario, who died peacefully on November 24, 2021, at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, in Sutton, Ontario.  Born March 14, 1935, in Whitney, Ontario, she is predeceased by her parents, Ethel and Joseph Saucier, her late husband of 32 years, Gerald Lacasse, her daughter Denise Proulx, her brothers Keith Saucier, Murray Saucier, Gerald Saucier and her two sisters, Lois Allen and Marjorie Henrickson.

Jean is survived by her daughter Lise Ridgway (Steve), her grandchildren, Greg Proulx (Whitney), Michael Proulx (Chelsey) and Kate Zahnow.  She was a proud great grandmother to Clara, Audrey, Evan and Abigail.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Jean was an exceptional seamstress and enjoyed sewing for her family and friends.  She also loved to bake and always had desserts ready for her girls when they came home from school each day.   Everyone would agree that Jean kept her house clean; she was proud of her home and her family.   Holidays meant a lot to Jean; they were often busy and shared with her parents and siblings.
