Peacefully at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Richard Strohhofer, age 68 of L’Amable, was the owner operator of a taxidermy business for many years. He will be missed by family in Austria and many friends. Richard’s family will receive friends at the Bridge Community Church (Bird’s Creek Plaza, Bird’s Creek) on Thursday December 18, 2008 from 10 – 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Coles officiating. Interment at Papineau Lake Cemetery, Maple Leaf. in the spring of 2009. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army or Gideon’s would be appreciated by the family.
