Left us peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy Carey of Lakefield, and her husbands Donald Rodgers and son Eric Rodgers of Lakefield, Murney Molloy and Gary Sweeting. She will be missed and remembered by daughter Elizabeth and Steve Mullen of Haliburton, grandchildren Ian McMunn (Chrystal), Corey McMunn (Brook) and Amber McMunn, and great-grandchildren Riley, Harlee, Erin and Eliza. Gloria was devoted to her music, playing piano and singing in choirs from a young age. A regular participant in the Kiwanis Music festivals over 3 decades in Peterborough and Bancroft. She was also the organist for churches in Bancroft, Maynooth, Lakefield and others for many years. Gloria will be returning home to Lakefield, with a private family interment at Lakefield Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, Quinte Health Care North Hastings Auxiliary, or the Pregnancy Care Centre, Bancroft would be appreciated by the family.
