Peacefully, at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday, January 19, 2020. George Fotr, age 76, of Toronto, was the beloved husband of Ludmila Wolfova and the late Jana (Koutna) Fotr (2009). Loving father of Jana Kalochoridis (Christos) of Toronto and Robert Fotr (Dagmar) of Oakville. Fondly remembered by Ludmila’s children: Vitezslav Wolf, Darina Wolfova, Vendula Wolfova and Adela Marouazi. Brother of Ivan Fotr (Maria) and brother-in-law of Milana Lidicka, Marta Veverkova (George)(Jiri), Maria Venosova, Dobra Krivakova, and many nieces, nephews and friends. George was a homeopathic practitioner and loved his profession. He was an outdoorsman, fishing, hunting, motorcycle racing, fine arts, and a lover of history. George’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Interment and a Celebration of George’s Life will take place in Denbigh in the spring.
