Suddenly, after a brief illness, at the Quinte Health Care, Bancroft Hospital, on Saturday, December 15, 2007. Gloria (Storey) McCormack age 54, was the beloved wife of Reg McCormack of Highland Grove. Loving mother of Vincent (Jamie) and Quentin (Leona). Grandmother of Kendra and Hailey. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Don Storey (Eileen) of Brighton, Delbert Storey (Marie) of Lindsay, Wilma Spence (Gary) of Bird’s Creek, Elaine Townsend (Don) of Wilberforce, Betty Bruce (Ken) of Bancroft, Glen Storey (Donna) of Bancroft, Garnet Storey (Debbie) of Paudash, Wayne Storey, Elwood Storey (Melanie) of Wilberforce, Darlene Storey of Bird’s Creek, and Darren Storey (Tanya) of Bird’s Creek. Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Erma (Card) Storey and a sister Shirley. Gloria was an Education Assistant at the Haliburton High School for over 21 years, and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and students. Gloria’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N.) on Tuesday 2 -4 & 7- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Heathcock officiating. Interment will take place in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice North Hastings, Gideon’s or The Easter Seals would be appreciated by the family.
