Peacefully, in her husband’s arms, at the Quinte Health Care, Belleville General Hospital, Belleville, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Pauline Amyot, age 79, was the beloved wife of John Amyot of Cardiff. Loved mother of John Amyot (Ann) of Ottawa, Louise Horton (Monte) of Toronto, Elise Tarrant (Ron) of Ottawa, and Patrick Amyot (Debra) of B.C. Loving grandmother of Aubrey, Ariell, Benjamin, Danielle (Daniel), Chantale (William), and Sophie (Stephen). Great-grandmother of Thomas, Michel, Andreanne, Summer, Brooke and William. Predeceased by her son Bart and her daughter Anita. Pauline was very community oriented, an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church, a member of the church choir, as well as the North Hastings Community Choir. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A Memorial Service will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church (40 Flint St., Bancroft) on Monday, April 04, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tim Maindonald Officiating. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Shepherds of Good Hope, Ottawa, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
