Peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Arthur Ings, age 86, was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Gray) Ings (2006). Loved father of Sharon Rattle and her husband Dave of Bancroft, and the late Edward Ings and his wife Pearl. Loved grandfather of Melissa (Nathan), Amanda, Lisa-Marie (Doug), Richard, and James (Julie). Great-grandfather of Bill, Nikki, Jimmy, Gwyn, Nate, Eli, and Jack. Brother-in-law of Norma Ings. Arthur was a manager for Beaver Lumber Company for many years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Victory Branch #317 in London, Branch # 181 in Bancroft, and was an auxilliary with the London Police Services. His Family was his life, and was a master baker and loved fishing. Arthur’s family will receive relatives and friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel (2001 Dundas St. E. London) on Sunday evening 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
