At Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Barbara (Boston) Thomas, age 81 of Cardiff, was the beloved wife of the late Jack Thomas (1989). Loving mother of Darlene Thomas of Cardiff, and Jacqueline Thomas of Bancroft. Loved Nanna of Chantal Thomas and Bruce Thomas. Great-Nanny of Jason. Daughter of the late Frank and Clairise (Knight) Boston. Sister of the late Margaret Clancy, Betty Yorke, Helene Hutchinson, and Frank Boston. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Felstead. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Friday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Saturday, January 01, 2011 from 9 – 10 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 10 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Heathcock officiating. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association or The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
